About Daamihost

Infrastructure built from Kathmandu, for the whole web

We started Daamihost because Nepali developers and shop owners deserved hosting that didn't force a choice between "cheap" and "reliable."

Our story

Named for what hosting should feel like

"Daami" is the word Nepalis reach for when something is genuinely worth it — not just cheap, but good value. That's the standard we built the company around: hosting priced fairly, in the currency that makes sense for you, backed by people who actually pick up the phone.

We started in 2019 hosting a handful of local business sites on a single rented server. Today we run infrastructure across data centers in Kathmandu and Singapore, serving freelancers billing in dollars and shopkeepers billing in rupees — often from the same laptop.

2019

First server, first ten customers

Shared hosting for local business sites, support handled personally by the founders.

2021

Dual-currency billing launches

NPR and USD checkout side by side, for the growing number of Nepali freelancers billing abroad.

2023

VPS and developer tools

SSH, Git deploy and staging environments added for agencies outgrowing shared hosting.

Today

10,000+ sites hosted

Two data center regions, 24/7 local support, and a 99.95% uptime track record.

What we hold to

Our values

Price it fairly, say it plainly

No asterisked renewal jumps. The price you sign up at is the price you renew at, in the currency you chose.

Support is a person, not a queue

Every message reaches someone who can actually fix the problem — not a script reading back your own ticket to you.

Uptime is a promise, not a marketing line

We publish our uptime numbers and back the SLA with account credit if we fall short.

Build for where you are

Low latency inside Nepal matters as much as reach abroad — we optimise for both, not one at the expense of the other.

Where we work from

Thamel, Kathmandu

Our support and operations team is based in Kathmandu, with infrastructure partners in Nepal and Singapore for redundancy.

We're always looking for people who care about uptime as much as we do.
